Five years of Honest Wolf

Like many stir crazed Kiwis during the 2020 lockdown, Sam and I had the idea of starting a small business. Well, to be fair, there were hundreds of “game-changing” ideas that didn’t survive the overnight test.

 

But, of all the pie-in-the-sky ideas, Honest Wolf was the one that we couldn’t stop thinking about. Fast forward five years and we’re still pinching ourselves at the journey this venture has taken us on.  

 

We’ve gone from selling down at the Farmer’s Market, to opening our Hunterville flagship store, being featured on Country Calendar, we raised over $100k for Gisborne flood victims, collaborated with The New Zealand Team, had countless partnerships, and so much more. 

 

Better yet, we’ve helped get New Zealand wool a bit of limelight around the world – which is one of the main reasons we started Honest Wolf in the first place.

 

That being said, none of this would have ever been more than a lockdown-thought without the support of you guys. Seriously, it means the absolute world to our family.
