Our Process
Each and every Honest Wolf is made with locally sourced materials. But to ensure they all arrive with a well-manicured coat, our Papanui Estate Wool goes through ameticulous process.
FROM EWE TO YOU
STEP ONE
Our generous ewes allow us to shear their coats twice a year. This gives us more than 170 tonnes worth of Papanui Estate Wool annually.
STEP TWO
Once cleaned in the Hawkes Bay. the Papanui Estate Wool goes to our workshop in India where it is dyed and made into felt-a process we aren't able to do just yet in NZ.
STEP THREE
The felt is combined with NZ leather and farm-tested hardware before being crafted into the Honest Wolf range. It then makes its way back to our Hunterville boutique.
STEP FOUR
Finally, we take your orders in- store and online, hand package everything up and send the piece on its way to its new home.
